Is that with the latest DME software?

The main reason is that the PROcede CAN Clear doesn't work with my old software...

I am looking for this since a long time
1. You won't get a downgrade.

2. Actually, my car was the one BMW R&D used for analysing the problem when first reports of the problematic v29.2 came in. First, they would not acknowledge that there could even be a problem but stood corrected when they did the downgrade and everything was fine again, much to the engineers' dismay. See here very early in the "turbo lag" thread. They would never have done that as a fix for anyone, just in my prototype case.

BMW took very long for the v32.1 remedy, in the meantime I had to get another update because of the defective steering column. If I remember right, I had these versions on my car over time:

v28.4 -> v30.1 -> v28.4 -> v31.2 -> v32.1 (with lagfix) -> v39.x (with lagfix)

3. You won't get a downgrade. Really.

does 39.x feels nearly as good as 28.4 on the MSD80 ?

is it possible to take a pre 29.2 MSD80 from one other 335i and put it on mine?
Will the coding of the DME to the car automatically need a program upgrade?

1. Yes.
2. I think it would need an update.
