M3s without EDC will use the same rear shock mounts as your car.

The M3 bar is a very popular choice, but in this case I lean towards the H&R bar as it's a bit cheaper while being a substantial upgrade over stock.

The 23mm H&R rear bar is the stiffest we currently carry for the E9X. Keep in mind that like the M3 bar, the H&R M3 bar is going to require new sway bar brackets in order for the bushings to be installed properly. Personally between the two H&R options I lean towards the 20mm H&R rear bar for non M cars.
