Hi all,
Just wanted to say thanks for all the info in this thread. I've just retrofitted logic 7 to my E61 using the info on here and it's all gone smoothly and works great! Coding was easy just changed from standard to top hifi and then had working audio and eq settings Ta |

so you need to remove and shift (insert in the next free slot) one cable which is going to headunit in the most concentrator, and insert both your cables (one from one side and one from another side) so that amp will be included in the loop there is myriad of the MOST insertion howtos and pictures in google and internet

Ok now it’s all clear, everythings wired oem logic 7 is functioning but cd changer not, it’s a very lot of work as VickyK said but satisfactiion is the winner partially, because respecting the rule of the ring i have do this sequence…..cic-mulf-logic 7-cd changer…..but cd changer i’m not able to code correctly, logic 7 i code for miracle surprising myself, but cd changer i spend four hours and try retry again and over but nothing; asking you if can write step by step, like: open ncsexpert load manipulation profile clic on this and over so and so…..please someone.

Next you need to code the CIC parameter - search for "CDC" and change from nicht_activ to activ Coding procedure is the same like how you did for L7 |

If you did, use NCS expert to default code back the module. It will revert back the ECU programming back to stock. |

Meaning you coded kombi instead of CIC by mistake?
Look firstly explain what did you do to wire up the cd changer. Secondly see the modules in INPA. Does the system recognise the CD changer? Check that first. If it sees the module, it's matter of CIC communicating with it. The fiber optics you added for cd changer or not? If fiber is there for cd changer, and inpa sees the device, its better off code default CIC to factory. Because you added the VO for CD changer in the CAS &NfRM, the car will know CIC requires it and therefore codes it accordingly. Take note, default code the CiC only when you are sure the VO for Logic7 and CD changer is there. |

Ok solved….after and during a mystic pray it’s all done and working logic 7 + cd changer, i think the mistake was that when i recode to stock the cic it don’t recode the correct cic.c1a for my car, but cic.c09…..and now uaaaauuu good logic 7 and cd changer; i’m a little scared if disconnecting/changing the battery, all of this settings disappear…..what do you think..?
regards VickyK and all of this forum for the patience. |
