No because I will not be able to tell the slope of the run.
All runs need to be recorded by using a vbox or performance type box.

I did a 1/4 mile run and keep it going to 130mph, so I can get the 60-130mph time. Mods are Procede V5 map #1 set @13psi, intake, DP's, exhaust and charge pipe. 0-60mph 4.30, 1/4 mile 12.8@ 110mph, 60-130mph 14.14 seconds. When the weather get better, I will try again. I know my car is faster then that.

Question: i have done 2 runs today but when i open the files the times are totally off , seconds read like 1345 for 60-130 . Could sat connection cause this ? this is the first time i did not use the external antenna so i guess the connection was poor....

Sometimes the seconds are very off, if you try to read it 60-130. You could read your time from 0-130mph and take away your 60mph time.

I get that too. I never used an external antenna, and sometimes the logs show exactly the same as the display and other times it's quite a bit off. Maybe it just isn't updating fast enough without an external antenna? The best 60-130 mph I've done according to logs is around 12.7 seconds. Of course I'm not running meth, but still..... You should be sub 10 seconds easy....

However I think what is happening with the 1345 seconds is that the search function doesn't find the correct number. Try to edit the graph by removing all data in front of your 60-130 run and search again. The larger the file, the more of a puzzle it is.

well impossible to calculate but from the best i got 10.6 which is crap but traction is very poor unfortunately and i have friction 19 inch tyres. maybe will try tomorrow with the external antenna.
its quite difficult to find a flat run where i live.

Mr 5, I would find it interesting in this thread to see a time for a stock M3 - just for a fun comparison to see how our tunes/upgrades compares to an arguable "bench mark".

That's because I don't want to be last on the list....

No, seriously as intimidating as yours and hotrods results are, I will send you a file shortly, knowing that I will definitely be last on the list with the current bunch of times, but I will have to wait until I can get a dry road to measure it on properly. The other day I thought it was sorta' dry and I broke traction during testing several times, the last time in 6th (MT) @ 238 km/h (147.97 mph according to the log) on a wet road with DTC..... So I don't dare do any testing with everything off just yet...

I am attaching a list from 6SpeedOnline showing some other times for reference. Unless a E90/E92 M3 is supercharged/N20, its not likely to better a 10.70 second 60-130 run.

Looking forward to seeing Dzenno's after his RB upgrade.

Dzenno, next time we hit Caygua we need to bring your vbox and do some 60-130 runs.

Is there enough room at the strip to hit 130? Quite a bit of distance is covered in a short period at those speeds. That is unless you are trapping 130mph+ in the qtr mile.

Don't worry about it. The more times we have on the list, the better.
FYI:

My stock 335i time: 17.1 seconds
Stock w/JB+ : 14.8 seconds
Thanks, now I don't feel quite so slow LOL, and not to worry I will post a time when I'm sure it's about as good as I can get it. I finally got my downpipes on about 2 weeks ago and did a 12.2 going slightly uphill the other day, and I was short shifting (2 shifts, 6MT). It's still winter like weather around here, so I will wait a few weeks for my summertires to come back on, and then I know I will get under 12, I will probably hit around 11.7-11.8 I think, maybe even less if I can find a 3% downhill slope somewhere

BTW, knowing how hard my car pulls now, yours (and Mr.5's for that matter) really must be monsters
