If the object is to circumvent a regulation to gain a performance advantage then thats cheating.
Just as an athlete taking performance enhancing drugs....Doesn't matter that some new drug might be transparent to the sports governing body...its still cheating.
Or maybe its just me.

that wing definitely bends.. its a visual proof that not much interpretation needed.. eyes will be on RB next race for sure.. and yes if their top speed goes down.. then ouch..

luckily next race will be Monaco which ll make the transition smoother..

If you ain’t cheatin’, you ain’t tryin’.

The credit for that old saying generally goes to NASCAR legend Richard Petty.

FIA wont be checking for Monaco.
They are giving them some time to comply before they crack down.

Yup... if they think they can get away with it they will try.

I know an old racer that was a little slow in his class; he used a brake light switch to fool cars behind him into braking to early.

Indeed...sadly there will always be a few people who don't feel the same moral imperative to compete in sport without cheating.
Lance Armstrong managed to win a lot of bike races with the aid of performance boosting drugs using a range of techniques to avoid detection.
Not getting caught at the time doesn't make him less of a cheating POS, at least to me it doesn't.

Funny how the muppets were up in arms about DAS...a perfectly legal system cleared by the FIA in advance of the first race of the season.
But Red Bulls flexible rear wing that is strictly against the regulations and an obvious attempt to cheat...thats "nothing".

All the wings from all the teams have been checked by the FIA .
All the wings are FIA approved according the regulations on paper , the Red Bull wings included !

The problem is that MAX runs too fast for HAM , that's why the complaint came from HAM and the Wolf !
2 weeks ago I said , there is a war going on between Red Bull vs Mercedes .
This is only the beginning !
The FIA can better take a look under the W12 PU cover , regarding the Mercedes warp-speed boost !
And HAM was already using DAS in 2018 ...In 2018 the Mercedes DAS wasn't FIA approved !!!!
It was 1000% cheating !!!
Red Bull will strike back !!!

In that verstappen/bottas video you can also see that the mercedes rear vertical finn is flexing in the corners and under turbulance and the RB's rear finn doesn't.

I bet that on that little thing also a minute advantage is gained (I can't imagine MERC not being able to stiffen that finn up where other brands can).
I think it's strange that people do see a wing flexing on the RB car but don't see a finn flexing on the MERC car. How can I be the only person who does see that?
I bet that's equally 'non rigid'.

It's all the same same. All teams try to stretch the rules to find the tiniest possible advantage.

Toto "bought" the McLaren diffuser , because the W12 rear end and balance really s@cked !
Yeah , we already got a Pink-Mercedes , now It's a orange Mercedes !

Check out the '21 Mercedes winter tests in Bahrain ...HAM's W12 was a gravel machine !!!

that vibrations on the fin probably causes a time lose.. im not an aerodynamicist but a surface that vibrates is not something to help for its performance.. but bending and changing the angle on the straights does.. clearly..

Man, we agree on nothing

Lance Armstrong cheated and used "a range of techniques to avoid detection" with intent and covered it up for years.

RB passed all tests with no cover-up or intent to deceive because the wing was in plain view.

However, after watching the new video I think the FIA will change the test and RB won't be able to use it. The key part being marking wings and video observation not just load tests. IMHO

From looking at that any sane person (apart from 44 fanbois) would have thought that's taking the pi.ss with that.

I recall recent criticisms of Red Bull for “question statements” that tipped the fia off from Red Bull about Mercedes. Seems both are guilty. Noted.

Yeah , probably the W12 warp-speed isn't enough for HAM...

Otherwise ?
That's for sure with all the luck on his side !
Remember HAM at Imola in the gravel trap in reverse during the damn Red-Flag !
