Deciding on a midpipe!

I was in the same predicament and almost ordered a catback off Alibaba but decided to go with an AA single midpipe. Just installed it last night. Sounds great! Just wish I was out my break in period so I can really hear the exhaust. Mike@x-ph gave me a good deal too.

I went with the X-pipe from Dinan sounds great had to pull the cats off and use a chop saw to get a clean cut to install

I went with Valvetronic. Valve controller already on at time of Valvetronic instal.
Added AA downpipes since then.

All right yall, hopefully you saw the installation video last week, as the new Active Autowerke equal length midpipe for the BMW G87 M2 is excellent!

The most common question though with any exhaust change is though, how does it sound?!?!

So one thing to always keep in mind with ANY exhaust video is the limitation of the camera itself. The mic and conditions will heavily influence the video and audio, and in person is always the best.

That said, and a bit of a spoiler, I LOVE this upgrade! This brings a whole new dimension to the rather tame sounding G87, and adds some deeper tone and aggression.

soon we are beginning OPF implementation.

for now the bungs will need to be welded on

Yes must do, coz half of your fans in this side of the world has got cars with OPF. All others I personally find a bit raspy and raw like a 4 cyl turbo but you have nailed it

what else will we have to get rid of to assure there’s no limp mode or CEL? Can you share the exact module? Hope the upcoming OPF versions also sound the same or even more high pitch lol. We deserve some perks for the extended wait
