I would expect that you will not run into this issue with PURE or any of the US vendors. Last edited by JM98; 09-12-2019 at 04:52 PM.. Reason: Grammar |

Pure is currently the only Turbo manufacturer we work with and we've had quite a few on the site in the last decade if that says anything for them.

Why do you have info on all these DAW failures? And what makes them junk btw? Tell me what you know about how turbos are built and where DAW went wrong? Or is this just another band wagonee regurgitating what someone else said? Not factual is it?

That said, welding to a cast surface like that will often have contamination to start with, and then welding that to some thin wall can also be tricky. The torch marks are just poor form. |

Wrong! That looks like shit period. And these are not cheap turbos. You want to command the money you make damn sure QC are doing their job. Very simple.

*shrug* I don't want to comment too much on it as he's worried about getting warrantied if its public. I told him he should post in the DAW thread. From what I've heard, it didn't sound like an install issue.

If both turbos failed then something is up Lubrication issues can happen on install. Seen that before. Brand new and totally shot? More to that story.
