I was getting this error when I switched to a Walboro 450 and my friend did some EKP voltage fix in the bimmer geeks pro tool app and I have not had the issue/warning since.

But yes you can code that. The smart thing is just add the thermal pad/heatsink/fan for $15 bucks + the coding. It's such small money for piece of mind. Then, if you need to run a second pump use a relay from the battery and a hobbs switch etc. no 2nd pump load on EKP. Boom. No need for the BPM4.

Looking forward to seeing it. Hopefully something you can sell! Seriously even if it is a small kit people will probably pay vs. piecing it together themselves.

Hey all still working on it but we should have data soon showing the temperature difference between a factory unit and a cooled unit while running upgraded fuel pumps. I got the OEM connectors in that will allow plug and play as well. The gears are still turning I promise!
