Waiting on testing data. A member in Florida has my testing equipment and the first unit I made.

I was getting this error when I switched to a Walboro 450 and my friend did some EKP voltage fix in the bimmer geeks pro tool app and I have not had the issue/warning since.

Someone is living dangerously! But do mods still look at these forums much? I doubt it.

But yes you can code that. The smart thing is just add the thermal pad/heatsink/fan for $15 bucks + the coding. It's such small money for piece of mind.

Then, if you need to run a second pump use a relay from the battery and a hobbs switch etc. no 2nd pump load on EKP.

Boom. No need for the BPM4.

You're right in that coding simply masks the problem. These fuckers get HOT. My solution is just one take on the common fix, and perhaps slightly more elegant.

Looking forward to seeing it. Hopefully something you can sell! Seriously even if it is a small kit people will probably pay vs. piecing it together themselves.

Hey all still working on it but we should have data soon showing the temperature difference between a factory unit and a cooled unit while running upgraded fuel pumps. I got the OEM connectors in that will allow plug and play as well. The gears are still turning I promise!
