I followed your thread. Haven't seen recent updates though. Between work and a 30 year old project time is limited. Jesus. Don't let me get into the alcoholic ex.

honestly, you would get far better performance gains from russian ebay headers then the stock headers with primary cats deleted.. theyre worse then the ebay stuff.

There is a thread on here where someone did this, and they gained 15whp and 18tq or some such. That's not bad for a very inexpensive mod. Certainly, a real header is going to get better gains--especially at the top end. But my car is rev limited anyway (it's an auto). I'll post findings on how the results are from my end and hop on a dyno if i can.

Dynocom - bolted into wheel hubs Stock Run on Chevron 94 - No ethanol Header run - 92 grade containing ethanol from no name gas station There was a ping in the run that didn't affect HP but threw max tq off Despite the ping max tq was around 174 ft lbs. So around 20lbs gain One of the runs showed 12 whp max gain - not super important because its the delta that matters Greatest TQ gains are in the 2.5 to 3.5 rpm range Video briefly shows flatter curves without ping Best pulls were 5th and 4th base and headers respectively Avg tq gains throughout the band were 14lbs Avg hp gains were about 9.X I highlighted the graph in pen because lines were faint 6 pulls each time - best runs were taken, although the pull before the one on the graph had higher MAX HP and no ping if I remember correctly. I should of had him put that one on. I was in a daze when this went down because we had a baby the night before and I barely had any sleep. Yes. I dyno'd the day after having a child. Don't judge me. EDIT: one thing i failed to mention - i am doing the cat delete more for reducing engine temps than the actual power gains. the car is cutting timing at the track and power drops dramatically. Anything i can do to pull heat away from the motor is going to be helpful here to prolong optimal power delivery. This, along with upgrades to the rad, and introduction of oilcooler etc is being done. The 12 ponies or whatever is a bonus

^no idea bud, that was from a thread where a guy went to do cat deletes on the stock manifolds. Everything that i put up there (minus my notes on engine heat) were taken from the original poster. Haha.

Unfortunately I'll be out of the area when they arrive so I can't hide them from my wife. She seems mildly upset that I spent $1000 on my iPhone 7+...

Haha I have them being held at a FedEx shop for pick up. She won't even see them in the trunk! I can't reroute the BPC package I have coming though but one package is better than two.
