RB have made only one small change with a winglet removed from the top of halo to influence the airflow around the rear end of car.
Big spenders Laren have quite a few, a new rear wing with lower downforce for this circuit and 3 different beam wings depending on which downforce setup they choose with a target of increasing operating range of that rear wing and yet another change is additional cooling exit on the engine cover, these bods mean business. |

The RB looked like it was quick in FP and the tell tale sign for me was Per's quick lap on Soft tires esp knowing the high fuel loads and low engines mode they run. Max is usually 5-6 tenths faster than him too.
I have a feeling Nor might be due for another DNF. I think generally speaking, he's not a driver that can outdrive a car, and is only as good as the car allows (ie he's not winning like Max can in the 2nd or 3rd or 4th fastest car on a weekend given he hasn't won on merit with the fastest car). I also think you're starting to see the pressure mount on him and will only hinder his racing more as he pushes beyond his ability... It was also funny to see the quick 180 on his words last weekend and unless you are from the UK, most everyone else, F1 drivers in particular, seemed to agree with Max and that he did nothing wrong. I hope we can see Per up there being a wingman again. Last edited by HeelToeShift; 07-05-2024 at 03:27 PM.. |

There are no tech changes for the SF24, Alpine or Williams.
