I also resolved my comfort access issue. After replacing the module, my ebay replacement handle worked normally again. I can only assume maybe the stock handles fried and that screwed something with the module. For example my stock passenger handle still doesn't work and it is warm to touch so I'll have to replace that one. I unplugged it for now.
You can see my detailed post here near the bottom of the page: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showt...1268679&page=3 EDIT: Alright idk if my module was actually bad or just the handle all the time, but got another handle at pick a part yard and it works perfectly now. Also think it resolved my battery drain issue. Last edited by TheMidnightNarwhal; 01-28-2024 at 02:03 PM.. |

I've had an '11 335is Coupe for a little over a year now and have also had the same issue. Never had the chance to really address finding out why my CAS wasn't working. Any tips on what to check? How do I check the door handles?
Don't remember the exact codes but it was a Comfort Access Module fault, and a Footwell Module fault. I have ridges on the door handles and the CA key fob. For some reason, I can roll down the windows with the key fob but keyless entry or keyless start don't work at all. |
