It could be your wiring too, take a photo of your plug and compare it to others that you find online it's a dead set give away. The loom that I bought was already plugged but once I re pinned it it started working for me. It's easy to get the pin positions wrong is all I'm saying.

I can post pics of the connectors. Did you want the CIC connector or the Combox connector?

I've not retrofitted a CIC as my car had one so I can only help with combox

Your power wire only goes to pin 2, some like pin 1 but it doesn't hurt to duplicate and do both

Should I splice into #2 power wire and connect it to #1 as well?

Also pin 7 is vacant on mine you have a black with red wire and pin 10 on mine is a black wire for mic- yours is purple???

Hello, can anyone tell me why Im getting Microphone 1 open circuit and it doesnt work for calls. I thin i wired it right and I had MULF module which one is basicaly for the calls only. year is 2005. Do i need to code something or i need to do something under glove box ?

What do you mean open circuit ? Are you measuring with a multi meter or are you getting an error message ? Did your car have a microphone in place previously?

I’m planning on doing this soon. I have question: What did you do with the white square plug? The one from arm rest AUX that you routed to the trunk. Did you remove the pins and transfer them onto the Combox plug? Also, what did you to with the Fakra connections from the Tcu/Mulf box? Can you post photos please.

Yes. It shows for me on ista d always microphone 1 open circuit. I had coded before it worked and for some reason either after other coding or so. It happened like that. Sorry for late reply. Only getting back in this problem. Is very annoying not to use handsfree

Also it had. When I chose to work on cic microphone over cic. It only works for commands on the button of my steering wheel. But on the calls nobody hear.
Second thing over most. Nothing works anymore

I’m trying to replace my MULF with combox . I don’t think I’ve got tcu. I haven’t found a combox connector yet , but in your diagram are you taking the pins from MuLF 17 and splitting it to combox pin position 1 and 2? Just trying to figure this out . I have an early 2010 e70 with factory iPod usb and Bluetooth ( without audio) .
