No good MUSIC has come during this time. Just a buncha noise, mumble rap, shit that makes no sense, lyrics that are put together to rhyme vs making a song that can be understood and appreciated, etc
Same with movies. Except "The black phone" but that is for another topic. Couple oldies I like are Heard it through the Grapevine by Marvin Gaye Love for all seasons by the Fuzz I'd rather go blind by Etta James Rap.... Welcome to the Ghetto by Spice1 Black Superman by Above the Law Rock ? Alone Again by Dokken Scorpions has good stuff too Too many songs and artists to list when music was actually MUSIC. LMAO. |

Awesome choices. I didn't start listening to classical or opera until recent years. Each year I'm enjoying classical music more and more. Thanks for sharing your good taste with us and providing the Youtube links. |

Was reading over the OP again, Llarry, where you said list your 5 and only 5, that more would make the thread cumbersome. I had written that would be difficult to do and have already added more than you asked. I have some more songs I'd like to put in here but won't do it if you don't want me to.

Esteban is working on his top hundred so I figured I'd better try to keep up... I already posted a sixth (Aase's death from Eduard Grieg's Peer Gynt suite) so here are four more to round out my top ten:
Beatles - I Don't Want to Spoil the Party Tommy James & the Shondells - Crimson & Clover Buddy Holly & the Crickets - Crying Waiting Hoping Bob Diddley - You Can't Judge a Book by its Cover
