2600 miles on the d, and I am really itching to get this tune, but I am thinking I want to lower the car first.

Picked up my d today. Is it bad that I already want to do this?! :-D

I'll probably pick it up next pay-day -- Does it come at 50 or 65? I'm not looking to throw codes or anything, and I assume that its simple to pop out for dealer trips/etc as well?

Anybody have any additional fuel econo-cruise information for those of us who bought this to drive an absolute ton in?

Mike: If i end up with this, I'll be happy to provide you guys with feedback on fuel economy -- I'm in a field where I'll likely be driving a lot. a WHOLE lot... (Cover NC, SC, VA, WV, TN.... and maybe a few more before somebody stops my boss...)

That would be great if you could do some fuel economy plotting. The JBD comes out of the box at 50%.

Have one with your name on it here so hurry up an order.

Is the JDB detectable by the ECU or BMW even if it's been removed for warranty work?

Once removed there is no trace. Its a 5min install so removal is super easy.

after 13k miles of joy on my 335d, I think i'm ready to to take the next step on it with the JBD!

I was just wondering if any info has came in on the fuel economy analysis, when I feel like cruising during my commutes. The flexibility to go between that and100% road owning mode would be icing on the cake.

and just a fyi, the n54 tuning website isnt allowing me to add anything to the cart in firefox 4. will try with IE.

Last time I filled up the tank, the OBC said 34MPG. My calculations using distance traveled and gallons to fill up the tank had me at 31.7MPG.

BTW, I'm running it at 100%

Let me know if you can't get it to work. I haven't heard of that issue. Shoot me an email if there are problems.

foodstamps, with those numbers did you notice a increase or decrease in MPG after you install the JBD??

mike, I just tried it again and it wouldn't update the basket. It might be this certain computer i'm on so I'll try it on another one. If that doesnt work out, I'll shoot you a email. Thanks!

clipper - the OBC numbers increased after the JBD install. I never did the MPG calculations using fill-up and miles traveled prior to the install so I do not know how accurate the OBC was. I just fueled up a couple of hours ago and the OBC read 33.6 and the fill-up calculations yielded 32.03 MPG. It seems that the OBC is adapting and the numbers may grow closer with each fill-up.

mike! - i just put in the order and paid thru paypal. can't wait to turn my d into more of a beast! turns out it was the other computer i was using that was giving me issues with the order. i hope it went thru alright.

foodstamps - thanks for the info. I'll start making a mpg log from now until i get my chip, then compare it to the after (assuming i drive with the same aggression...must resist...) hopefully that can shed some definitive light on the situation.
