Nope not at all. Its a great looking car, but its not overly special either. I consider classics something different. Many times classics were not considered as good looking when they were made but better looking as they matured and turned to classic.
Take the E30 M3 when it first came out many people thought it was to aggressive looking almost obnoxious, but today its definitely considered a classic.

3-series is as common as a Camry, and it's not a real looker. It can't be classic. Most people who don't know about cars won't take a second glance at an E92.
REAL classic cars that I can think at the moment would probably be the Audi S5 and the corvette. |

i voted no, not because i have a E90 (I'm actually going to get a E92 soon) but if anything the E46 will be classic before the E92 or E90, there not special enough if you ask me

I think it's funny how all of the E90 owners say no to the E92 being a classic. DURRR?!?? I think you are confusing the E92 with the E90, which to say the least, is bland as hell.
I think many years down the road people will look back on the E92 design and think of it as a very defining moment in BMW's history. |

It's a good looking car, but I doubt it will be considered a "classic".
It's way too commonplace, and there are some lines I don't like about the car (I actually wish I got an E93).

Its a great looking car, but in no way (I will eat my hat if it ever is) will the E92 ever be considered a defining moment in BMW history.

I doubt it will be a classic but it will be respected for its merits in the future. Some say the E92s are as common as Camrys. Thankfully, that is not the case here. I have only seen one E92 in the past 3 months and that was an M3. I'm sure there are plenty here but they must be fairly spread out. I'm sure they are everywhere in SoFl and SoCal though.

i don't think the E90 will be a classic either so I'm not biased in fact i wanted the E92 but it didn't come out yet lol the E90 is kinda boring and the E92 looks odd (I talking about when there stock of course) so no way are these cars going to be consider classic |

The e92 is BMW's nicest looking coupe, evah! Its the balance of everything. Yin and Yang, I Ching, I Robot, and all that Jazz... Austin Powers would come back to 2009 and drive one of these things... with a skanky Ohio biatch crawling around in the left seat. Yeah, baaaahhhby, what a classic this one is!
