I am also getting the Light Module failure message in the display. The turn signals do not work and I am sure there are other issues.

My ProTools can see the BASIS module I have been using to get by, but can't access the repaired module. I do have standard tools on a laptop but had the same results previously. If ProTools couldn't see the module ISTA couldn't see it either.

The repaired module wasn't repaired correctly if it's failed. If the turn signals, windows, mirrors, cluster lights don't work and you have lighting malfunction then it's failed. Contact the company and have them repair it again

I wrote company through eBay, but they do not respond. I requested a refund and eBay generated a return mail label. I do not plan to send my module back to the same company as I have had no conversation with them through the whole process.

Open your FRM and send us 2 photos of the back of the PCB, and of the front of the PCB. Make sure you take high resolution pictures.
Also, next time you send an FRM to someone unknown, make some signs on the PCB as these are easy to swap.

So here is the summary of my issues with this FRM so far;

I attempted to repair it myself by purchasing X-Prog (did not work due to certificate error with Box)

While trying to fix it myself it fell about 6 inches and one of the wires pulled the pad off the bottom of the board (not sure if it will affect anything)

I ordered a replacement module from a parts dismantler (when module arrived I could not access with ProTools and got Light Module Fault errors)

I found a company on eBay that was close to AZ to limit downtime on the car (shipped on Mon and didn't get back until the following Mon - When I installed the module I cannot connect via ProTools and get Light module faults - Which is original fault with module)
- Company had not replied to any messages. Requested refund via eBay and they gave me a return mail label (I paid for a service and will not be returning MY module).
- Due to the missing pad, I am almost 100% sure I got my original module back

Considering shipping off to another company that claims they perform solderless repair since I do not know if missing pad affects anything.

I can try to post pictures of my module later tonight if you think it might help.

I wanted to see the PCB to be sure you had still received a FRM3. And to see the connecting points, if they had been touched. But, considering your newest input, it is possible that they have indeed tried to repair your FRM, but that pad that you said fall off might affect the repair process. You can attach a pic with a close-up on the area of the missing pad.

Solderless repair, means that they will use a tool that connects to the PCB with pins, so if your missing pad is required by their tool, they won't be able to do anything.
