I found a few older threads on this, but wanted to see what you guys think of the 325 vs 328 wagons, is the difference that noticeable? Any mechanical/design differences you might be aware of?

There is a reason it's 10k under typical market value for 2012 e91. I remember this car from one of the auctions. It had a right rear damage. Most likely rebuilt. If done right, it's a great deal. Its difficult to forget this awesome a color combo/package. Still no excuse for a poorly written ad.

I wonder if someone bought it and returned it? Does Carmax do that? |

I think they have a 5-day return policy. But then you can hold a car up to 3 days and if you're transferring a car that can take even longer. I never noticed it on Carmax before.

2011 RWD 6speed manual in AZ, NOT an xdrive (the Xdrives are everywhere, you really CAN tell the difference in driving them, the Xdrive does not deserve to carry the "Ultimate Driving Machine" description IMHO)
It has been listed for a few months and was $21895 http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/ctd/5799907780.html Although I want one, I did not look at this one I have given up and purchased a 13k mile loaded sport sedan with a clutch pedal, as much as I wanted a rwd manual E91 (and the fact that I have a perfect slush box version) I "settled" for an E90 ... sooooo, MY E91 is available: 2011 E91 LOADED, Prem, convenience, cold weather, etc, etc, always a CA car until Dec 2014. I still have the original CA plates for it SOLD! a neighbor bought it for his 74 year old wife ... absolutely ZERO interest from any BMW enthusiasts Last edited by al8apex; 10-29-2016 at 06:30 PM.. |

I paid the $ for the transfer as it would have cost me more to fly there and drive it back. It took nearly 3 weeks and once it arrived was unable to be driven or sold as they have some policy that the title has to be converted to a local one. We went down to look at it anyway that day (knowing we couldn't drive it). Anyway ... the car was a great 50 footer, but getting closer showed paint work done by a blind person in a dust storm. LITERALLY tape lines AND overspray, overspray on the drivers side seats, yes plural, front and back seats. They said they are refunding my transfer fees, have yet to confirm that that happened. My sons friend says he is leaving there (he has worked there for nearly 3 years) as the car quality has been heading south for some time. The car was priced at $17.9 with 53 k miles, black sapphire with lots of great options. I half heartedly offered them $10k for it saying I'd have to spend $8k to correct all the f'd up paint work ... car fax showed clean too, I really couldn't detect any damage, I think the car may have been keyed for the odd, random (shitty) paint work to have been done Last edited by al8apex; 10-02-2016 at 11:33 AM.. |
