If you have an after mkt FMIC, you will need an aluminum charge pipe. The plastic OEM will eventually blow a part (literally) where it attaches to the throttle body.
What does that have to do with the aftermarket FMIC? I thought it was boost pressure that causes the CP to crack/explode? And I will get a CP eventually but I have a backup stock CP laying around for when mine fails so I'll be able to drive my car while waiting for the upgraded one to arrive
Boost pressure & increase in air volume from a bigger FMIC.

yeah thanks, unfortunately, before I mod, I have to fix mines. im doing it myself right now. I have the head off of my 335i and sent out to check valves, and change the valve seals... it was a bitch to take of the head without taking out the front end or subframe.

How did you handle the timing chain and guides? I need to do this now to change a bent rod.
