DA's are double adjustable dampers and will be an overkill for a street car.

I would try replacing the dampers first, either Koni SA or FSD's.

For those already running Koni Sport Yellows a coilover conversion kit is also available.

Harold,
can you pm me some more info about these? im looking for height adjustability, general* comfort(this is for a DD), and reliability. not really interested in going low enough to require camber plates, and i dont track the car, i just would rather spend the money on something that i can trust, and apparently swift springs are the tits. just trying to see if these would work for me, or if a better option exists.

thanks

Hey Harold can you PM me a quote for the SA Koni's and camber plates for an E92 shipped to 30097... As well as you're recommended spring rates. Car is mostly daily driven but will be tracked and autoxed about once a month if that tells you anything.

Without the camber plates, will I be able to get the car aligned to spec? Car is a DD and don't want to incur the extra expense if it's not necessary.

TIA!

Can you elaborate on this new "thread body front Koni/TCK single adjustable strut"?

Obviously it's different from the Koni Yellow, but how?

Thx!

^ what's the difference between threaded body and non threaded body. Also I was looking at the pics and just want to know the differences between the 2. I see that 2nd pic has the bumpstops ... any reason why the 1st doesn't.

One is threaded body and the other is a sleeve over.

Photos are for posting only. The actual product will come with bump stops.

How would you compare this kit to the KW V series or the Ohlins with Swift springs? My e90 sport is street-only, but I like to have a little fun once in a while without losing my fillings and I'd like to be able to adjust ride height.

The KW V series on the bottom when compare to the Koni SA with linear rate springs, it's really apples to oranges here, the KW V series are not in the same league. When the Swift spring conversion kit($792) is added to them, then you can compare and the results will be similar. Until then for the price of these Koni's right now, KW's don't come close.

The Ohlins are higher end dampers and monotube by design, again, in a differernt league and will perform and ride better than the Koni SA. $2599 will get you an E82 or E9x non-M kit.
