Started it, shifted into reverse, moved 2 feet backwards and turned it off so I could drive the lawnmower out of the garage.

Sat in the passenger seat while my son drove and then we went for lunch. Then we washed and waxed the car.

Came home from a 10 day trip to Florida, got home from the airport, threw my bags in the house and then immediately went out to my car, vacuumed the whole car, while I ran it for a half hour or so with the windows open and then armor alled the whole car. Then, took it out for a drive to brush the rust off the brakes and fill it up with premium. AFTER that, I went home and unpacked... Missed my Beamer while on vacation!

Technically it was yesterday but I attempted the paddle shifter retrofits and broke the shit out of my steering column and now i get an orange "brake" light, my left hand blinker doesn't cancel, and the paddle shifers still don't work.

*grumble*

Washed and Waxed... also bought some replacement tail light bulbs from E92-Lighting...

yesterday i installed my LED interior set... what an annoying thing to get perfect (the dome lights). Once i found out the exact problem, i created a DIY 'fix-it' for people having issues in the future. This should take some hassle off of E92-lighting.com for sure ^__^

^__^ i completely understand missing your car... i leave to float around in the pacific for 3-4 months at a time, usually not even seeing land for a month and a half. Typically first thing i do when i get home from deployment is take the car out to about 150mph, come back, and sit at home and get hammered with the friends

I paid a total of $110 but I'm getting reimbursed for it.
The job is fairly easy.

Check out this vid if you want to see how to do it.

Tips:

In the photo below, position the window so that the green clip is lined up with the hole you just above the motor.

To remove the top-most torx screw from the window regulator motor, you're going to have remove the middle and bottom window regulator nuts and only loosen the top one.

I didn't go behind the window like it's done in the video to unclip the green bracket from the window; I went at it from the front.

PM me if you require additional information.

I went the cheap route and purchased replacement angel eye bulbs for $9 a pair instead of purchasing those $40 angel eye housings from the stealership.

The factory housing doesn't allow you to take the bulb out.

So I drilled a hole right where the bulb housing guide would be.

End result

Some of you would say, why not purchase LED's? Well, next spring I plan on purchasing the OSSdesigns. No sense in purchasing the OSSdesigns now since winter is right around the corner.
