Just recoded everything this morning!
Furthermore, this latest incarnation has resolved my issue where I couldn't connect with my new laptop(s).... This is truly a revaluation and huge thanks to Jay for sending me the links and bringing the resolution to me... there is definitely a favour owed.

In thinking if there is nothing in the box it may think it needs to create one. If there is a token saved in C:\data delete it. Also, you must have .NET. v4 installed as well.

What's .NET.V4 I've had the previous version working fine, it's just this version of 3.24.3 and the launcher doesn't follow the v9 instructions for some reason. edit : for some reason there was a token file created in C:data, detected that the ran the installer etc again and bingo ! Since you've installed/uninstalled just delete the whole data folder (uninstall doesn't delete this). Just google Microsoft .net or go to Microsoft.com/net/downloads - .net is the software framework required to run lots of windows programs. Good luck

Cool.
Did you have a previous install as when you uninstall it doesn't delete the data directory, for a clean reinstall you have to delete it manually, which assuming using default location would remove previous tokens too. Now get coding! Edit arse! Literally uninstall and delete everything including c:data, and start again.... What laptop/os? |

Uninstall everything then do delete the folders of the previous install and do reboot the laptop. Do a fresh install and when you install the .msi file make sure this time the token folder is with a unique name Which you know and get it configured in the esys. Then try the same

Rebooting after deleting seemed to make a difference for me today.

Jon when you install the esys the ec apps folder and the c:\data folders will appear as below
Now inside the data folder exists the pszdata folder and the Freetoken.est as below So if you uninstall the esys and token generator them restart the laptop, then before you install delete the folders of the first picture and then restart and do a fresh install

So this evening, I have managed to code my March 2015 car with the latest data files and nothing special. In fact if anything, it was more reliable than on my September 2014 car. How is this possible when everyone is saying you can't code them without jumping through all these hoops?

All I did though was copy the new data files to the directory of my old data files and code. Nothing else. I thought I had to do something more than that?
