I am just inquisitive....? I have been to SEMA few times and all I see is rims, suspension but no one doing serious engine conversions or mega ransplants....

Here in Germany, I know people fitting 5,2 V8's into E90, V12's into X5 or 6 series...

We dont have anything yet that promise serious power for our car yet thats why we just do suspentions and looks now if there was a turbo kit or supercharger out dont you think peaople wouldnt be jumping in to it? and if there is somethign out there for our cars please keep me inform since i havent seen any proof or pics yet other that the hartge v10 engine swap

I wonder how much a V8 conversion would cost....how much to get a V8 from a wrecked previous generation M5?

OK...let's do some educated guessing. Since I'm not really educated in engine swaps...I'm going to totally guess and say that for:

- used M5 V8 + engine rebuild + new exhaust + any other necessary custom fabrication/parts (reinforced clutch?) + installation into E90 + LSD = approximately $30,000 - $40,000?

and no guarantee you won't be thrown error codes every second. What do you guys think?
