Bimmer Retrofit is working hard to make the NBT retrofit for E-series happen sooner than you think! We are getting closer and closer to the completion of the project and would like to inform you on the status of the retrofit.

We have received many emails from you guys asking questions, and here are some highlights for you based on the most common concerns:

- All of the back lights on the front panel are working;
- All of the buttons on the front panel are working and shortcuts are working too (memory buttons are also working);
- Steering wheel control buttons are working;
- Service intervals and vehicle info are working;
- Bluetooth is working;
- Rear-view camera is supported;
- iDrive touch controller is supported;
- Voice control is working;
- And of course, navigation is working too.

We need a little bit more time to run some final tests and make sure there are no problems before we release this retrofit in the global marker. As you can see, at this point the retrofit is 95% complete.

Few clarifications with NBT retrofit for CCC with e9x series (could be generic for other models as well):

• Ability to send routes from phone to nav unit (bmw assist activation)
• Any limitations of ECU updates after the retrofit is in place
• HD Radio (Believe this is unit specific)
• Dealer diagnose limitations if the car was to to be taken
• Backup camera lines static?
• Future map update process?

Will the cars with Individual Audio still have the functionality.

Unfortunately, not all of these will work.

• Ability to send routes from phone to nav unit (bmw assist activation) - Yes, if you can activate BMW assist
• Any limitations of ECU updates after the retrofit is in place - Updates by the BMW dealer will not possible. Independent BMW shops may be able to do it, depending on equipped used.
• HD Radio (Believe this is unit specific) - Depends on the head unit
• Dealer diagnose limitations if the car was to to be taken - retrofitted NBT will not be able to be diagnosed
• Backup camera lines static? - Static or dynamic depending on the camera used

1) Can't we just install OEM HU temporarily?
2) Do you mean NBT cannot be diagnosed, or the entire vehicle cannot undergo diagnosis?

Graphics of PDC will show and in the Service section, you will see the graphics of the new coupe.
