Thanks alot for this! Some updates since the thread is a bit old:

I used this to update maps to 2020, I have a cic retrofitted into my 2008.

I installed fs tool 2, the recent version is just an install file, it doesn't give an extract option etc. So this is what I did:
- installed fs tool 2
- installed latest Java runtime environment, selected custom directory and put it in the same directory as OP.
- open explorer and go to the FS to directory, and find the ".bat" file, right click and edit with notepad.
- scroll down until you see some like mentioned "set java home", remove the "REM" at the beginning of this line, update the directory to wherever you installed the java RE in the 2nd step above.

Now fs tool should run. I went into swt develop, found "check fsc" on the left window moved it to the right, and clicked Execute.

Then plugged in my USB containing 2020 maps into my glvoe box usb, entered the code generated using the 1b file, and it's updating now.

Anyone know if I can use this tool to generate an fsc/activate the built in Sirius?

I keep getting the error 7009 when importing only 1B and 6F. Every other FSC code was imported and activated successfully. Googling such errors says to copy carserver from dr gini to carserver but that doesn't seem to be doing anything either. Any ideas or suggestions?

Hello guys. Sorry for my ignorance but I'm confused about a donor cic in my car. Yet I didn't activate it. However I can use navigation and voice unlimitedly, each time after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. So they become activated. But when the car goes to sleep mode and wakes up again after locking and unlocking, voice and navigation becomes grayed out again. Does every donor cic work the same in another car? What could be the reason for this? Could it have been script activated or patched before? May I determine it without ftp connection to the cic? Thanks for reply.
(I had no chance to disassemble it before fitting into my car to check an emulator is installed inside or not. Maybe its installed and became working faulty.)
