If that is the case then what mods are guys running where they hit 400? And then 440s

aggressive tunes, e85 and meth are usually what put stock turbo's over 400whp

i think they said no meth. What aggressive tune besides map 5 with a mix of 50 %e85 and 50%93 can you do ?

What exactly is the BMS Flash?

You can easily hit 400 with intake, DPs, tune, and e85. No meth necessary.

The BMS flash is a DME flash that is installed via Cobb AP in addition to your JB4. It allows larger turbos and higher mixes of e85.

Not 100% sure if it is needed. Someone with a little more knowledge will have to handle that one. You can email Burger Tuning if you need a detailed answer.

I ONLY have the Jb4 G5 ISO and DCI...no flash or upgraded fuel pump.
With 50% e85 I'm at 400hp and about 420tq.

Terry actually suggested that I run a bit more e85...so if I do about 60% e85 and 91 (don't have 93 here), am I able to run map 7? I would log my runs to see how its running, but is it even safe to try it with my mods?

Hmm so does this mean with me being FBO and a JB4 running 50/50 E85 that I should be around 430?

Just quoting him lol, I told him we didnt have those lol

Didnt get to run the sti but I ran a srt-8 300 and walked it hard, another 335i running jb4 g5 map 5 with dp's and intake and we were pretty even till around 100 when I started pulling on him. My guess is I'm pulling timing the the g4 board is holding me back a bit but it's hard to tell with no USB cable

Also raced a supra with what seemed to be around 1000whp, I actually got a great launch off but he pulled the shit outa me after I hit 40 lol

Yes if you are running ISO firmware, the diodes must be cut.

I would start with 40/60 E85/pump and log from there and up the ethanol only if the trims, fuel pressure and AFRs are good.

In a dynojet I'm well over 400!!! Mustang dynos read about 11% lower since they use sae corrections.

If it allowed you to get to menu 10 and 11 on the dash then I believe that means your diodes are already cut.

Terry suggested running more than 50% e85 without the flash or upgraded fuel pump? That doesn't sound right.

Yeah he said I could stay at 50% or up the mix a bit since my timing drops close to redline. Here is my 50% log on map 5.

I emailed him asking if its safe for me to try map 7
I will post his response once I get it.

i was thinking the same thing. You should be in the 400's all day long. I myself with the following mods
jb4 map 5
40/60 blend E85
DP
LPFP
FMIC
im in the 420-430 range

How could u guys say I'm at "about 400" or what not?
Guess what I thought I was too but never claimed it to be so, especially after runnung a ws6 fully built. He made 421whp in a MUSTANG dyno.
I was at e40 n 93 running map 5.
40 rolls I spun a lot n he would get me by like a car length by 130mph
60 rolls it was pretty much dead even, he prob was a bumper ahead of me.
Now his car is at 3500lbs + him
I was at what 3650lbs and my gf n I in the car.

All my friends were saying I was at 420whp at least! Well we were all wrong.
I see ppl posting their dyno sheets in here with a few mods n some corn making over 400whp, but u all need to realize n see those were done in DYNOJET dynos!!!! NOT mustang dynos!

If u don't know the difference then Google it.

When people post their dyno numbers, I just assume they're dynojet dynos.
Most people who post mustang dyno numbers mention that it was on a munstang dyno.

Regarding my high percentage e85 mix on stock pump and without flash..

"You then monitor fuel trims and fuel pressure, to see if the car can
tolerate such a mix, without our flash or fuel pump upgrade."

Regarding map5 vs map7 with e85.

"Normally map 7 always requires the flash for E85 use."
