n00b question - is it really necessary to have the intake pipes the same lenght? What happens if they are asymmetric?

Intake
Got that installed on my E92 335i a few weeks ago at Stett Performance. You can hear the turbos spool up whenever it kicks in. The sounds are really cool

The only thing i see is a product that is weak and is totally unfinished. I would never put that in my car, it is probably so weak, god forbid if the clamping comes off and the glue holding it together does NOT look sturdy..........have fun with that POS

I think that's a bit over the top. I've seen it and heard it in person and it looks more solidly built than in the picture.

I'm having this intake put on my car next week.....should be putting some dynos up by wednesday or thursday. I've seen it on Schneid's car in person and the thing is solid. Not sure why 335boosted2Dmax seems so disturbed by this product....anyway, I'll post soon.

Haha I can literally say the exact same post. Probably getting it installed next week with dyno's. Have seen Schneid's car as well. Its where I first saw the intake. Not sure why everyone is so freaked out about it. I have a final production pic Chad sent me, not sure if I can post it though. The intake retails for $600 plus $150 for install due to front bumper removal. (Real K&N) filter is low in the bumper, just above the foglight but high enough to not have to worry about hydrolocking. Supposed to have a piece down there that you can remove for additional airflow to the filter as well.
