Ah I havnt been up there in a long time.. I feel bad for the owner of the 575. I wouldn't have murdered the owner of the mustang and thrown him of the mountain and say he ran off..

+1. With my retrofitted oil cooler, my car's oil temp will not go > 250 degrees F.

Not sure if that is Glendora Mountain Road but I live in Glendora and GMR is one of the best twisties out there. It was closed for like 2 years but is open now. The problem is all the (pedal) bike riders. It sucks when you come around a blind turn and there are 3 guys side by side a few feet ahead of you
Terry, you should come over and go for a ride with me. You might find a new appreciation for your BMW when you try it on a road with some turns Edit: Just saw that it was Mulholland. GMR is actually quite a bit nastier than that. It's a blast when it is wide open!! |

There is a huge difference in driving fast on the flat straight streets of Florida and on these Cali mountain roads. If you are doing it right, I guaranty you will see your Needle damn near pegged in a Step with or without the oil cooler. I have the oil cooler and can get the car up above 280 quickly. It cools back down real fast when you let off the boost for a couple minutes though.
