Does the bad vanos intake solenoid have any effect on power output? i heard it has to do with torque and oil pressure? Correct me if i'm wrong.

Yeah a bad/dirty vanos would definitely cause your symptoms get them out clean or replace but they would be relevant in loss of boost

No, not with a 5" fmic, not with your car, just no. Nope. Just because you can theorize it doesn't mean it's real.

You probably have a boost leak or the car just needs some time to adapt. There should never be any power loss with an intercooler upgrade.
