Maybe I will shoot a video when things dry out there. I think people would be surprised to see how easily the car kicks out sideways with this power. For the price, how do you beat this?

Boosted_IS, I saw you're selling your single-turbo IS on ClubLexus. I sold my moded GS400 and came here for the same reason. The 335i twin's are just so addictive with all kinds of potential

I've seen pictures of Former_Boosted_IS's old car. The thing was a beast. If he builds this one like he did his last, this is going to be one very fast 335!

Thank you so much. I like reading this stuff from people that have experience in the whole "boost" arena....because I do not. I want to get one of these systems but don't want to F with CELs and shit like that and don't "need" to have the fastest 335 out there.

I contacted Terry via PM a few days ago to get his take on the situation given what my wants/needs are. He responded IMMEDIATELY and gave great feedback and was not pushy whatsoever. I will most likely order the JB2 early next week.

I find that pulling the flapper vacuum line on the exhaust tip and plugging it turns the 335, in stock form, into more of an older, turbo feel than the smooth linear power with the flapper in operation. With it disconnected, I can actually feel the turbos spool up now, and that little kick makes it more fun to drive IMO.

Its a hair slower off boost around town due to lack of torque with the valve hangin open all the time, but who cares...most aftermarket exhausts dont re-use it.

I want a JB2 so bad....I have access to 100 unleaded at the shop here, and the price tag is really good...and Im surprised that JB2 has come a long way with no problems, compared to version 2.0.2.5.7.23.4.2.34 they have over there , throwing limp modes left and right..

Jacob and Adam, thank you both for the very kind words. I have to say this engine just feels like it loves boost as much as my IS300 (2JZ) did. The tranny feels SO much more solid too and that really makes me feel good. I am very much looking forward to seeing what we can do with this car. Adam, I am also looking forward to getting your pipes on my car to see what they can do and post results.

alms, you are not alone. CELs are embarrassing. Turning off the car while driving to clear a limp mode so you can drive again? I didn't pay 45k for that to happen. I think you will be very happy with the JB2. Trust me, it will give you time to learn how to drive a exponential power increase turbo car. You will get to feel the rush of the turbos and learn how to control the slide as the torque rockets. It is critical on these types of cars.

For the price, you have to pull the trigger. The car is really begging for a power increase. If you think the car is fun now... just wait.

It's just .5-.75psi more for crazy guys on 93 octane. May throw a code every now and again where as JB2 will never throw a code. But for people who want it. We're testing now to see if any codes come up and if so how often.

Thanks Wayne. The IS300 was really fast turbo'd.

Just got it on.

Damn is all I have to say.

Pulls really hard. I'm interested to see the numbers on the dyno.

Quick question your JB2R when you say race gas you just mean 100 octane right? Or do you mean the VP 110??
J/W because I have a vette that takes the 110 (racegas)...

It means ~96 octane, so a mix of pump gas and 100 octane unleaded.
