I love this new map. I just finished doing some partial testing.

To answer some questions:

1. Yes, some of the low end torque is back and it is very nice.

2. It did not thow a limp mode. My car is a 6AT. Shifting at redline was very smooth and fast.

3. Engine response is very nice. I was on the freeway in 3 gear at 60 mph just playing with it and it pulled soooo nice.

I don't know if its just me...but there is something about this map. It just feels great.

You don't really 'open' it. You just load it up into your PROcede using your PROcede software. If you can get communication with your laptop, then you can update firmware. That link I posted above explains the process, step by step. Only takes a minute to update firmware. Real easy.

I'm with you on this. It feels absolutely great! As someone else posted... I need LSD now because the power is unreal....

On a serous note, car feels great. No limp modes, solid acceleration, smooth shifts. I will do a few more runs between 3rd and 4th just to make sure and log them just for data.

Glad you guys like the new map. There are a few improvements to performance but I kept them small (but noticeable) for the time being. Just want to get the limp issue is 100% sorted before we make any big changes. We made a very small change in order to eliminate the limp issue. We can always make it bigger and bigger if there are still isolated limp issues here and there.

What about a part race gas map - say 95 octane, or for other enhancements like a new IC for the rest of us 1.47 users waiting for our harnesses Would be a nice consolation offer by the Gods of Vishnu...

+1 on the new firmware and 12-19 map. I have been using this map for 2 days now and have not had a single limp mode. It really feels good with noticeably more low end TQ than the original v2.0.2 map. The low end feels strong like v1.47, maybe a little less, but no surging, only smooth linear delivery. The shifts are smooth and crisp. It seems like this fixed the problem for everyone who tried it so far. Hopefully everyone will have good results so we can get moving on v2.0.3. I guess we will know in a few days as more people try the map.

Right now, for the sake of minimizing variables, we wanted to keep 1 map for both auto and manual. If, through the no limp crusade, we need to make certain changes specifically for manual or automatic, we'll unconsolidate them. The nice thing about the new maps is that they make no power concession at high rpm. We found the way to supress the limp code and, for the first time, it doesn't involve rolling boost off just before the upshift.

No limp mode before (2.02 MT) and no limp mode for the new map so far.

Same here. Noticed that there is definitely more power across the whole rpm band. Low rpm tq. is roughly 90% of what 1.4X felt like so it's getting a bit better.

So this map has a little bit more ooomph down low? So I guess i should upgrade my 2.0.2 MT map to this one?

Shiv, quick question.

With this new v2.0.2 12-19 map, you said you increased torque "slightly" in the low rpm range.

Can you give me (us) an idea of how much?
Meaning compared to the v2.0.2 12-11 map how much more torque is there in the new map in the 1000-4000 rpm range when on the default settings?

And does this increase go up relative to the v2.0.2 12-11 map when increasing the torque values of the new map?
Meaning, if the new map has say 5 rwtq more than the 12-11 map at the default settings, does it also therefore have about 5 rwtq more than 12-11 map when both are set at 92% as well?

Thanks

Probably no more than 5-10 ft-lbs more PEAK tq. than the previous version. The difference is it comes on 500 or so rpm sooner (from what I can feel) which makes it feel closer to 1.47 than any other V2 map so far.

Thanks for the updates Shiv, quick question.

What new feature did you "unlock" in the firmware and do you plan on activating a way to log IAT through the Procede? I see it as a data point but its not active.

I'm going to load the new firmware and map this afternoon and see if it changes what I'm logging at all.

That would be nice, and the o2 sensors.
