E92 325 is still a nice car. I had one as my first BMW and loved it.. till I went for a ride in a 135 then swapped over quick smart.
I sold + installed a good condition second hand M sport steering wheel yesterday for $390 all up, so not an overly expensive mod. |

Organising to look at a black 2007 e92 325i over the weekend with only 57000km on it. Sapphire Black but not M-Sport unfortunantly. His advertised for $30000 but gonna try and get it down to around 25/26k mark because no m-sport no paddles etc. Nice looking car though!

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1007453 That car looks good but It has an mtech rear bumper but front looks to be normal. Might have been rear ended and chose to change to mtech? When I was searching for my car I had a process of visually looking at every panel in extreme detail. Followed by scanning for past errors kept on the car with software and OEBD tool cause your average joe doesnt know how to clear them. Checking everything was correct with features the car had using this site http://www.bmwarchive.org/vin/bmw-vin-decoder.html. Taking it for a drive getting up to speed to hear shit moving around. If the car pasted all my tests take it to a BMW specialist for a look over. A 30k car is alot and you dont want it to be a lemon. Yeah 325i's do use fair amount of oil but thats just all BMWs at least the ones in my family. |

Na no powerbox, ESS is going to release a supercharger for the 325i soon. There is a big thread on it. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=986099 But like others have said if you want power and engine modding potential 335i is the way to go. 325i kinda limited in what you can do. I was thinking about a OEM PE for it though for the sound rather than HP gains. |

You can get a 135i for 325i money. That would be my choice and you won't be late for class either
FYI - modding a 325i is a waste of time/money if you're after gains. |

The shop I went to for my pre-purchase inspection tried extremely hard to steer me away from buying a 335, and to get a 325 instead...
Nonetheless, I got the 335i and have not regretted it one bit yet. Now I'm just waiting for my fuel pump, injectors, and turbo waste gates to pack up on me so I can say "I wish I got that 325 instead". |

IMO, 325i is a good car, if it has manual transmission. You will not be winning any traffic light grand prix though.
I really enjoy driving my 325i with MT on the street. When I got a loan car from the dealer I discovered the 325i with Steptronic was a bit annoying. The lack of toque means the you always have a delay for auto box to get going. |
