I was referring to the fact that you took so much offense by getting pulled over...it happens you know. i know you're just trying to play devil's advocate but maybe the OP is innocent on this one and is just totally frustrated about the whole thing.

Yea, But It Shouldnt Have, I mean, From Wat I Saw That Day, There Waz So Much Traffic, ANd Im Sure If U ASk People That Live There, They'll Say Theres A Grip Of Traffic Sometimes When U Want To Exit Of The 210 By Fair Oaks. And Then How Could I Have Been Speeding 80?? There Waz So Much Traffic That My Cousin Waz Admiring This Black Porsche That waz riding along side of us before i got to the semi, for like 10 15 minutes doing nothing but 40 to 50. I mean even the carpool lane waz going slow. So giving the conditions, how could i have been speeding? I might as well have hit someone according to his speed. But thanks on the good look, imma try the written declaration thing. By the way? people do i just send it to the court that i was suppose to go for court day? or how does it work? and do i ask for it, or say i plead not guilty and ask for a written declaration???

I don't know why I even bothered to ask for a warning, bc I should've been happy that I wasn't tossed in a drunk tank. He came back after minutes handing me a ticket w. my license. I said "oh cmon man," and then he assertively said "JUST READ IT".

the ticket had "WARNING" circled.

Did that route before but lost. Taht cop actually wrote a letter back. He said I was going like a bat out of hell.

You may consider to save time just pay the tix and do traffic school.

You will have a very difficult time beating this in court, based on the information you have provided. Challenging the officer's credentials in court is risky at best, you just might piss off the judge and get him to throw the whole book at you.

But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Very much so. It's one of the biggest things they TRY to teach at traffic school. If the semi is going 70 and you need to make a quick exit, MOST times the safer bet is to slow down and exit behind, not try to speed up and whip across 3 lanes to make your exit.

Again, just my opinion after 25 years driving in Cali with no accidents (knock on head) and A+ driving record for over 10 years.

Ok Since Some People Seem To Be Getting Butt Hurt About Me Saying All Pasadena Cops Are Gay, Let Me Re-Phrase It And Say That The One Who Pulled Me Over Waz, Not All, Its Just A Reaction That Most People Get When There Pissed Off Bout A Ticket That Shouldnt Have Even Happened, Especially When The Traffic Laws Contradict Themselves. Ex. Driver Must Go With Flow Of Traffic Or Put Themselves Of Being In Danger Of A Citation. But Yet The Next Law Says U Can Only Legally Go The Posted Speed Limit. All A Bunch Of BS. But Yea, Dont Take It Up The Butt About Me Sayin All, Im Sure There Are Some Good Police Officers Doing Their Actual Job. Unlike this one, he didnt even write down his method on how he determined the speed i was going. So wat if i was going 100? or maybe 120??? Is visual training that good? i dont think so. Its stupid to think they are trained to know someone is going exactly "80". Whats next? They'll say they dont need radar? Their eyes are trained enough?? Give Me A Break

Conclusion today on 4/7/08: I freakin won because the officer didnt show up. Thankyou to everyone that said i should have contested it from the beginning. Otherwise i would of just paid and lost a lot of money. And yes i know im basically lucky, but i just want to say that i wasnt going in without any ammo as PshhhhhMW said later on this post. And i want to give a special thankyou to officer Simmons for not showing up today. Maybe he wasnt so bad after all. The only thing that sucks is i still had to remove the fron tint even though he marked it as incorrectable(sp).

I forgot to mention....On my way back home, saw about three cars getting pulled over.... Was like damn man do they not have anything else to do??
