It's called Vigg Designs. I forgot where in NJ it was. We had a group rate. Not sure how much they are charging now. But if you look in the regional forums and search Vigg, you'll see the thread.

I have installed the black trim on about 20 or so E92's, E90's and E46's. I originally started out with a roll of vinyl, and cut it into pieces. I ruined many rolls, by cutting wrong, to short, to thin etc, or by making patterns that didnt work. It is kind of difficult taking such a large roll, and cutting it correctly without a mess.
After all these installs, I took about 4 hours, making a pattern that is simple, and easy to install, that is 5 pieces. You will still have to wrap it around the edge of the trim, and cut the overhang, but the time savings by having it pre-cut like this, is literally several hours, since you dont have to map it out, measure, hope and pray it works etc. My installs went from about 3 hours (non precut) to 1.5 hours (pre-cut). I would cut the pattern out of the vinyl the night before, and have it ready. It takes me about an hour to cut the vinyl pattern out for one car, because I hand cut it, and test it on my car first by holding it up against the trim, and making sure it all lines up the way it should. If you feel that it is not worth it, or you can do it on your own, PLEASE DO SO!! I encourage it! It is less work for me! hahahah. I dont really like going out in the garage at night when its 30 degrees cutting vinyl for hours!! |

Im actually thinking of going back to the OEM kindey grills from the matte black ones I have, but as for the trim around the windows, im still sold on black. The Aluminum trim in my opinion reminds me of a mercedes or some luxury sedan too much |

A luxury sedan? You mean like an E90? I know what you mean but it was just funny.

here some quick pics I just snapped showing the entire layout of the vinyl for the car, a few pages of the 7 page step by step instructions, and an e46 with the trim and some shots of a silver e92
