$40-80 usually. We don't do it often. My wife doesn't drink and at most I order a beer or two if the tap is good. I find the idea of steak houses to be crushingly laughable when I can go get a super choice cut from a local butcher or direct from the farm on the cheap and cook it better than any restaurant can. Yes, I know it's egotistical to say that but it's true and I refuse to pay the premium for it regardless of the "atmosphere." I'm happy that my wife likes my cooking and feels the same way.

A plate that I can't make myself for whatever reason or something new I've never attempted before? I'm happy to pay for that 10x over.

Nowadays you can easily drop $50-70 for two at your local ale house with sticky tables.

Planning to go to Buca Di Beppo tonight, because I got the $20 off coupon. My kid loves that place. I think I will end up paying about $25 for 3 after coupon tonight.

I also got Texas de Brasil (http://www.texasdebrazil.com/reservations/) buy one get one free coupon. This place isn't as good, but again................................. my kid likes that place. Well, my kid likes McDonald too.

ETA: I will be taking my Luxurious 99 Avalon. I don't feel like driving 2door vehicles tonight.

Well, if meat weren't as salty, I would love this place. I gotta specially ask them for low to unsalted meat.
it is about $55 per person, so it will be about under $120+tax+tip.

I cannot judge the food and service of entire McDonald just by going to 1 location of McDonald.

Jason, you missed the previous post. Her SO makes 20k/month.

My wife and I go out so infrequently (read: 3 kids under 9 yrs) that price is no object when it comes to a nice dinner. I'll drop $2-300 for the two of us if my wife is really jonesn' for something..

Try Chima it's on Las Olas Blvd in Ft lauderdale. I've been to both and Chima is nicer.

I get confused when the bill comes if just the wife and I go out. What, this can't be right! There are only 2 digits in front of the decimal point.

Wife normally doesn't drink, so I pound a few if possible. Jack is my buddy, although that Diabetic Cadillac was pretty good.

Normally at least 1 kid tags along, often with a GF. Many times a niece or two will hear thru the grapevine.

I spend a shit load of money on food every month and I assume eating out crap would be a lot cheaper, but I enjoy making the stuff on the table. Since I moved out of my parents house, cooking became my favorite hobby in days and ever since I've become more and more of a nazi when it comes to ingredients.

I love the family time and preparing stuff together. I don't mind if the carrots are cut not perfect when the doer is four and happy to help. Taking me out to dinner is pretty darn hard since almost every place just makes boring foods and hides bad ingredients under crappy spices.

Last time I took the kids to lunch the bill was around 80 bucks and they complained that the food was not tasty and the sauce was bland. I can see my way costing way more than Sara's in the future.

Wife or I cook six days a week. Wife and I try to eat out once on Friday or Saturday for a little grown up time. Kids are now old enough (15 and 13) to stay at home while we walk out to a nearby restaurant. Spending can vary from $60 to $250 depending on which restaurant and if I splurge on the wine!

With all the Brazilian BBQ talk, I decided to cancel the Buca Di Beppo reservation and decide to goto Texas de Brasil.
With excessive couponing, our bills for 3 (adult and 1 kid) will not exceed $60!

I have save over $20 coupon from all sorts of restaurants this month. Plan to use them ALL!

When I take a reallllllyy special girl out at night, I might treat her to at least 4 things on the dollar menu for us to split at the Macdonalds.

It takes a prime hoe to go to a prime steakhouse if you catch my drift...., and lately I've been drifting into that country folk.
