I have the new map loaded but my limiter is still in effect. I know you're supposed to use the old green loom somewhere but the post I found describing this procedure didn't describe what pins on what connectors I'm supposed to intercept... sigh

bullmrkt,
Thanks for converting this to PDF - must get acrobat. I drew this up because it seems like the few on this forum that knew how to perform this mod , were either vague or reluctant to tell the less technically minded how to do it. The info is out there now. No turning back, but anyone about to try this, may want to hold off until Shiv sorts out the programming code, as it seems to be causing a "start-up gallop" issue on some peoples car. Might want to read the whole thread for the heads up on this !!! Go here : http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=104634

Secondly, a collision at speeds above 100mph means you are dead. Have you ever watched a crash test at 65mph? Almost no chance to survive this even with seat belts on. It doesn't matter whether you drive 155, 175 or even over 200 mph the result's gonna be the same. The most important safety factor when driving fast is simply that there are no obsticles meaning traffic, trees and pillars. Otherwise you're pretty save. Of course, your tires should be in good shape as well and you should have some driving skills. |

CarveOut - Let us know what you top out at, I'd really like to know what our 335's will do on the 'bahn. I think they can make it past 175mph (282km/h) with a good tune a some bolt-ons, but we'll see...
Oh and have a GPS unit in the car as well if possible, I've tested our speedos and they aren't very accurate.

Don't have GPS either. Have you ever tried the "V eff" from the hidden menu? It shows around 2-3 mph less than the odo. |

I know about the hidden menu and I tried to get to it once but I couldn't get it to work...
