But to think 48% WGDC is the ragged edge is sorely mistaken, there is no way this thing was making large boost at that amount of WGDC. On the other hand 68-70% (like the competitive car) or more, that is getting up towards the extreme max effective WGDC. This RB car has some ways to go before getting there. Thanks, Rob |

GTR killer haha those are some strong words. I'd be willing to bet a stock turbo gtr FBO+100% e85 would take it down. Just my opinion and that's stock turbos

Any idea if this kit is out for production? Anyone know the cost? This looks really promising.

Datapoints- RB Car (Blue lines) E92 XI/AWD Automatic Transmission in 4th gear. Independent results. RB Standard Turbos with TFT inlets, Billet 15T Compressor, MHI 12 blade clipped turbine, stock charge pipe Boost- Unknown (entire pass slightly below 50% WGDC) Fueling/Tuning- OEM HPFP with inline LPFP. E60. Fueling insufficient at this time and to be addressed at a later date. Wedge/BQ Tuning. Any other questions let us know, as some of the boost curve was over the DME's limits SOME was not (towards redline) I do believe. I will see if we can dig up what is known though, I am curious as well. Thanks, Rob |

However here is some food for thoughts . Within the TMAP sensor range limits he put down 528 awhp / 555 awtq same day on 21psi tappering to 18.5 psi @ 6700 rpms with a " sub 40% WGDC " Now we continued to rais boost just about "sub 50% WGDC" coming to the OP record. This should give you general idea of how much boost was running with a 10% increase of wgdc. |

But for the sake of conversation was there any point in the record pulls powerband that we were within the TMAP sensor range limits? Or all over? I was thinking I saw that toward redline it came well back under limits. |

In our opinion the hot side charge pipes will not amount to much due to the fact that the compressor housing itself has its limits. Not that it still isn't a good mod to extract utmost efficiency, as there are some design deficiencies in the OEM hot side charge pipe… but likely will not be accountable for big power gains. Nothing to the level of the inlets... Thanks, Rob |

Black out occured just after 3500 RPMs and returned back on to the TMAP sensor limit range just after 6000 RPMs So the 10% increase of wgdc cooborates to 23 PSI and started to tapper off to 20 PSI just before redline. When I saw the logs I was looking on my phone and didnt look at the entire log to the end.....lol, thanks for pointing that out. This is the same boost I ran on Ken's(Wedge) car on stock turbos but at double the wgdc ![]() |
