Cool.. thank you all for your responses... I prolli will be goin with 35% Ceramic tints cuz as Tommy said earlier, I wudnt want to risk possible interference of the nav or satellite radio signals that might happen if i did Metallic... and now I would know what is considered a good deal n what's a rip-off

it might be subjective, but do u guys think it will be harder to resell a car with tinted windows? i mean, would it affect the resale value negatively or at all? thanx.

And provided it's not something like mirror tint, it adds a nice touch to the car. I'm in the process of getting tint (put it off for way too long). If I get metallic and it causes CA to not work 100% all the time as it does now oh well. I'm not paying $400 for F1, which is the cheapest I can find. |

dealer wanted $495, and then he knocked it down to $240, same price as the tinting place I usually go to.

I paid $230 for my tints, which are Madico ceramic tints. One thing to note, if you already don't know...if your car has Comfort Access, or if you have navigation, I'd suggest going for a ceramic tint instead of a metallic tint. This is because the metallic tint may interfere with the GPS signal and the CA.

I was quoted the following for my e92:
Dyed tint: $150 High performance (part metallic): $200 Ceramic (Huper Optik): $350 I went with the Huper Optik and I am very satisfied. IMO, tints always make the car look better.
