Good luck with that attitude, charities "generally" are formed to benefit those that are helpless. March of Dimes is no more special than other charities who also benefit the human helpless. And if their CEO is being paid that much, sort of makes me question how much money is actually going to the labeled cause.

I don't mind donating but ASBSECU E93 most people will not donate because they'll feel it's a scam and the cars in your signature shows us that you are 'balling' somewhat. Everyone will be thinking ' why is this person asking for donations?'

I am a volunteer for my company's annual fundraising efforts supporting March of Dimes - I assure you and the readers, this is not a scam, regardless of what type of car I own...which are a 9 year old Truck, a 4 year old Jetta, and the M3 that I financed for the price of a fully loaded Honda Accord after my trade..?

I support several other charities (United Way, March of Dimes, Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, etc) either through my time or financial contributions...

Joekerr - Charities also depend on the kindness of others...I am a volunteer supporting their annual campaign, also giving my own resources to this cause.

In the time it takes to leave a negative comment here - a $5 or $10 donation could have been made to this cause

Some of the comments on this thread are just disgusting. Why make this into a political debate and then accuse others of their literary demeanor? These aren't YouTube comments...

The OP is simply making his charitable organization heard so others have an opportunity to donate. If you don't want to donate, then don't. If you have questions, ask in a polite way.

If you have an issue with the charity organization, I don't think the this thread is intended to debate these issues. Perhaps find a blog that lists the pros / cons of different organizations.
