Very nice!
Do you mind me asking how much the exhaust work was?
I keep thinking about it for mine, but cannot decide...

Thanks mate.

Cost £350 for the exhaust but I have a petrol E91.

Will be a lot cheaper for a diesel as you won't need the rear silencers.

Definitely worth doing though mate

Car has now been debadged and the rear is looking very clean. Got carbon front splitters attached and some matching carbon mirror covers on the car now. I'm really pleased with how the car is looking at the moment. Will take some pics when the weather is better. Kinda wish I had a carbon grill now but I can live with the matt black one I put on.

I'm still on the look out for new angel eye/halo headlights, the one I want the supplier won't be getting them back in stock until July Probably just as well as I think I need to take a short break from mods for now as i've spent a small fortune already considering I originally said "no mods" and "I'm gonna keep it stock" when I bought the car!

I emailed about the exhaust today, not heard back from them yet though.
The work looked good on their site

If you emailed Torqueflow then you'll be waiting all day for a response as he hardly checks his email. You're better off calling him and you'll get the quote straight away.

What's the point in having a website with a link for a quote that says they will contact me shortly if they never check it

Yeah I don't blame you tbh..

On the E46 forum that style exhaust was knows as Cyril Sneer's nose

I had it on my 320CD, hated it. I'm not a huge fan of the exhaust on my E91 which is the newer oval style one, but it's still an improvemnet over the pre-facelift...

I know what you mean dude. I emailed and didn't hear anything so phoned in the end. Not making excuses for him but as he was busy when I called to book mine in and I had to wait a week before he could fit me in. Don't be put off by this lack of email communication as Immy's work is spot on and he knows what he is doing. Cupraraj recommended him to me as he's had a fair bit of exhaust work done by him too.

Thanks mate, totally transforms the rear end. Originally thought 4" was going to be too much but it fits nicely in the diffuser.

Carbon mirror covers and splitters attached to the car. Really like the way it looks now.

Thanks mate.

Splitters and covers are from eBay. Fitment is very good. When putting the splitters on I found that putting the double sided tape on the car rather than inside the splitter helped to make it flush.

Mirror covers fit perfectly too.

New additions!

Ok some updates since I lost posted on.

I've swapped the matt black grill for a gloss back one which I think matches the carbon splitters and carbon mirror covers better than the matt black one. I've also got some F series side indicators too which I know isn't to everyone tastes but I like the LED in them.

The biggest update though is the new alloys.

I've always wanted M359 style alloys since I started on this forum and finally last week I bit the bullet and ordered some Avant Garde M359 alloys from ********. James @ ******** was great in answering all my questions and queries with regards to the allows. Ordered the wheels on late Wednesday evening and then arrived first thing Friday morning. Also ordered some new BMW centre caps and some new M badges.

Loving the deep concave on the rears

When looking for rubber I was debating the Goodyear or Continental Sport Contact 5. My only reservation with the Conti's was the reports of rapid wear. Anyway, after looking around the net and speaking to a few local tyre dealers I decided on the Conti's from a local tyre dealer who has always been very competitively priced and I'm happy for him to have the business too. So 2 x 235/35/19 for the front and 2 x 265/20/19 for the rear, the rubbers set me back £600. I was slightly concerned there might be rubbing but James assured me it would be fine.

Spent the weekend applying G Techniq C5.

Anyway, I booked the day off today and the tyres showed up this morning so popped along to get them on the car.

Goodbye MV3's and run-flats!

Hello M359's and non run-flats!

The tyre place couldn't do the tracking as they could't get the tracking gauge on the tyres. My car is a M Sport on the standard suspension but I guess having the original MV3 alloys and tyres in the back didn't help matters.

Couldn't resist snapping a quick picture!

Not to worry, drove to Aline in Dudley and got them to set my car up since they have the Hunter laser. Never realised just how much the camber was out no the car. I've never had the tracking or alignment on the car done since I bought it last year and I blamed the skittish handling on the tyres that came on the car when I bought it but apparently the camber didn't help matters either.

The guys at Aline really knew their stuff and were very happy to go through everything with me. Will definitely her going back to them for any future tracking/alignment needs.

Camber before and after

All sorted and all for a very reasonable £45.

I've not took the car on the motorway yet but even though I've gone a size up from 18" to 19" the ride is so much better and more comfortable too. I'm over the moon with the end results and not only does it transform the handling of the car but also the look of the wagon too. No rubbing either! Was contemplating dropping it a bit but will see how I get on with the standard M Sport springs for a few months and see.

The car is dirty and I only had my iPhone with me so here are a few more shots:

I do love this forum but it is not good for my wallet!

Looking fantastic. It's amazing how it looks now vs the standard look. You have done a great job on the exterior. What is the interior like?

Thanks mate. Interior is standard, it came with black leather but I have put on a carbon fibre steering wheel trim and that is it. Would like CIC but cannot justify the cost.....

Thanks mate. From what I can remember they were different sellers but the carbon pattern matches with each other

Thanks. Really happy with the end result and how they look. Was tempted with M3 style ones but the deep concave of the M359s had me. On the lookout for some LCI headlights now.....

Do your tyres give you any rim protection on the 19"s? Can't really see much from your photos

It's a concern for me if I moved from 18"s, M359s really suit the E90\91\92 though!

Also did you need spacers?

Car looks great btw!
