Update:

We are working on getting the website up and fully-functional (www.wustefest.com) and it should be up with all information in the next day or so!

The initial response has been incredible and we have people chiming in from ALL OVER the country (as well as a good sized handful of our Canadian brethren up north!) I'm excited that you guys are excited but the most important thing right now is that, as I firm up Wustefest plans, you guys are firming up YOUR Wustefest plans (most notably making your hotel reservations)!

All information is already accessible on the main page of http://www.wustefest.com and if it's not on the main page, there should be a link in the toolbar... The hotel reservations are the best way I have to gauge the attendance and if everybody waits until the last minute not only will it be impossible to accurately plan, but the hotel will begin releasing rooms to the public (which means that if we fill up whatever rooms are left, those that have not booked will end up spending A LOT more $ on the same hotel room)... Another important reason is that if we end up booking up our entire "block", I can request more rooms and the earlier we do that, the cheaper the rooms will be. THE ONLY WAY TO GUARANTEE THE GROUP RATE IS TO BOOK ASAP

There are an incredible amount of very exciting things happening behind the scenes and Wustefest 2008 appears to be turning in to one of the biggest shows in the country (in its second year!!!) We have groups coming from ALL OVER (2 different Canadian caravans, one leaving from Minnesota, a big group potentially coming from the east coast, and huge groups coming from all over the western part of the US).

Thanks for reading, make sure to check http://www.wustefest.com for updates and book them hotel rooms!

So what exactly is this event? Is this just a group drive with parties? Show with vendors? Sorry, new to this event.

Its basically a weekend of euro related fun in las vegas.

The highlights include:
-the group caravan out to vegas
-an all wustefest kick off party on friday night,
-a group drive up mt. charleston (very beautiful and about a 10-15 degree drop in temperature) on saturday
-the blacksheep performance gtg and bbq on saturday evening
-2nd Annual Wustefest People's Choice show and shine on sunday (no judges, no classes, the attendee's pick the winners)

I believe there will also be more vendors/sponsors there this year, but not all of that has been finalized as of yet. Its definitely my favorite show of the year, and in only its 2nd year its blown up significantly. I'd definitely recommend it to everyone who is part of the euro community as it is a weekend you will remember for quite some time. Just seeing 150+ modified euro cars cruising the 15 to vegas (and down the strip ) is a sight to be seen!

check out the forums at www.pure-euro.com/forum to get more information, as well as some footage from last years event! see you all in vegas!

Mostly accurate, Kevin.. Thanks!

Yeah, I assume that this event was the inspiration for M-Fest (because it is following basically the same schedule)... huge difference is that this is opened to all-Euro enthusiasts as opposed to be directed to only Bimmer peoples...

Oh, and just wait until you see the parties!
