I had if not the first one of the first sets installed of VRSF down pipes.
Going on 4yrs now I think.

I have this and still want more....maybe I'm just greedy, but next on the list is to remove resonator and install X-pipe.

Gains are as expected, 20-25WHP with a tune.

Most catless downpipes make about the same power, give or take a few.

Idle, cruising and highway are only a touch louder. More spool up noise under heavy throttle and a little noise going heavy throttle and wide open. In my opinion it's perfect as I hate exhaust drone.

I just installed my VRSF DPs along with a Corsa TrackSport 3.5"exhaust yesterday. Everything fit like a charm. WOW! The sound is intoxicating. No need for the radio...the tone and hearing the turbos spool are the best music. Money well spent.

Do all downpipes produce the same sound? The AR site describes their DP's as giving an "exotic and aggressive exhaust note". I'm debating between the two right now, found a used set of AR's for $570 shipped. Don't know if it's worth the extra $200 over new VRSF.

I have installed a few sets of VRSF Downpipes and no complaints here, they seem well constructed and fit great. That Being said I have AR ones on my Personal car (gotten before anyone else had them on the market) and They are literally flawless pieces of art, all the way down to the ceramic coating that is still in great shape.

If you want new I guess I'd say VR...

If you don't mind used, you can pick up a set up AR or CPE used for a competitive price.

Don't be shocked if you can hear wastegstes rattling after lol

Since all the vendors are out in full force I will plug the Performance Line Downpipes we have been selling for the last 2 years. Very high quality at a great price.. Check it out.. We've got lots in circulation..

Nothing beats ar design though. Great quality, even down to the gaskets and bolts you get with the pipes. Still a very popular product for us, despite the higher price point.

I got active autowerke pipes, they also fit grrat, but at the end they are all just pipes.
These days dimensions are all well known, and various company order them from China etc, and still get good quality
Only advantage AR has imho is if you want them wit sport cats.

Correct AR is one of the few companies that offers catted DP version for this engine
