I feel exactly the same way....This is my 4th black car, and I've just about had enough.

With that much rain, I would say don't do it.

Black Sapphire here. I know it's not JB, but it's still a pain in the ass. That said, there's nothing like it when it's clean. My situation is fairly unique in that my car is NOT my daily driver. It's always clean in the garage, doesn't see wet roads or rain and is meticulously cared for. I have three separate sealed containers with different grades of microfiber towels for polishing and cleaning. It's washed with the two-bucket method and the paint is flawless. Yeah, it's overkill but this is my toy and I love it!!!! And yes, it gets driven like I stole it and goes to the dragstrip regularly. Any kind of BLACK FTMFW!!!!

That said, if I had to deal with rain on a regular basis, I would have gotten Space Grey, without hesitation!!!

Jet Black will show the most dirt and scratches. It's not the rain it's the dirt. dirt is dirt. Silver is the ultimate low maintenance color.
