I'm glad you got it resolved but that's a d*ck thing to say. Dude at least pointed you and/or others in the right direction.

Ok, so does all e90 have this or is just the LCI models? I haven't noticed any problem with this on my MY09 (Nov 08 production) and my rear pads last 3x as long as the front pads so far.

Here is the parameter to code off: E84_FLR - Engine power Reduction (prevent brake disc overheating by reducing engine power)

Change the e84 to e89 probably for your chassis, my chassis is an X1. So it would be E89_FLR in your XDSC module.

Weird... Your car is an 07 right? I thought they only implemented this in the later model. My 09 doesn't give me this kind of codes at all.

Yup. I have an '07 and jlombar5 has an '08 (?). I disconnected the brake pad sensors, did fresh brake fluid flush/new pads and it still happens after a good number of laps at Blackhawk :-/

Weird indeed, considering both of our cars has LSD. I wonder there is difference in the ABS module between different model years.

M-tech 335i 6mt non lsd build March 2008. I have not experienced this issue. Now on f30 brakes but haven't experienced on 100% stock brakes either. Perhaps I'm just slow driver and gentle on that brakes.

The e-diff, or ADB system as BMW calls it, was introduced in 1 and 3 series cars in March of 2008.

this thread is about something else. All 1 and 3 series have e-diff. Only difference is that depending on build year e-diff could be turned off or not.

Don't know if you saw this but it can be coded out. I've done it.

I didn't know the e-diff could be turned off. I know with the 1 series and 3 series from 2008 on the dtc and dsc systems could be full turned off, but the ADB system (e-diff) always remained (unless coded out).

Which models and years have the ability to turn off the e-diff built into the car?

How can the e-diff always "remain" when the wheels spin endlessly?

I don't understand. Both wheels spin endlessly? One wheel spins endlessly? Under what driving conditions? What model and year car are you talking about? Are you turning off the e-diff (ADB system)?

I don't quite believe the MY info. I have a 10/06 build date 335 and I get the brake warning indicator at the track, and my brake sensors have been removed.
