I have my interior wrapped carbon now, going to switch it to gloss white soon and do the button red.

I just did mine using Valspar Color Radiance Flat Black and it looks like new. total time not counting waiting for the paint to dry = 20 minutes.

I'm guessing you removed the button assembly from the dash?

How much of the dash do you have to take apart to get the button out? Mine is almost entirely flaked off!
