Yeah, mine did it again tonight. It is seeming to be more frequent. Once again very light throttle, just starting to apply more, jolt with clunk (like the motor rocking on the mounts) and then acceleration.

I've had this happen twice. It was after I upped the torque settings to 94. I was accelerating in 3rd and once I hit like 6k the harsh jerk happened. Was kind of scary but after that it didnt happen again. And once the car stalled while waiting at a light after leaving a shell. Just to be safe I went down 93% and the cars been fine since.

As always with any type of problem, the first question is: Have you ran the car on the bypass plugs for a few days, to see if the problem can be replicated? This is always the foundation of any troubleshooting. Because, most of the time the problem can be attributed to a hardware issue with the car (fuel pump, o2, spark plug, etc.). Without knowing the results of this test, you really shouldn't try to look elsewhere just yet. |

The problem only happened twice while I was adapting to 94%. I have an 08, at first I just thought it was adapting because I had it shift really rough while getting on the hwy. After the 2 jerks the car didnt do it again; I just put it down to 93 to be safe. Actually it seemed like it might have happened again but it was when I floored it in d then put it in ds while flooring it. Mightve been a rough downshift though

I've had this happen myself a few times and didn't notice this thread until now. It's random when it happens to me and I don't hear any thunks or klunks. Just the warning light indicating that the dynamic drive is no longer active. It goes away though and I don't notice change in acceleration or throttle response.
I thought perhaps its the colder weather we're having lately. I'll keep looking out for it and noting when it happens again. |

Dropped my 535 off at the dealer on Friday and they gave me a 335xi....eh....
He called me today and told me that there were no codes and that he was going to open up a PUMA case with BMWNA. Him and the Service Manager both know about and rave about V2 on my car. We shall see what comes of this. |
