Lol , i just saw this. I will post our entire PM conversation, when i have some time. Anyway , that guy is full of shit. I have sold many waterpumps and injectors on here and i can have every single person vouch for me. Anyway long story short , he said the pump (sealed from bmw) was bad, i told this guy to ship the pump back and i would exchange it for him. Guess what ? He never did.

Anyway, i still have a set. Someone asked where i get these. I get them from a local BMW dealer where i have a hook-up. When you buy from me you will get brand new sealed items from BMW. I have nothing to hide here.

Alright here we go ....
Here are links to all the pictures of the SEALED boxes from BMW , which I just opened for the purpose of this thread. Along with screenshots of our PM where I asked him to ship back the pump for an exchange. Like i said i never opened these boxes so i put the part numbers i saw on the box, as pictured above. Apparently BMW puts different part numbers on their boxes different from the numbers on the part itself, i don't know why. All i can say is that i have installed about 7 or 8 of these myself and i have not had an issue. I have also sold about 4 sets of these on here and they have not had an issue. This is an electric waterpump, did he or his mechanic connect it wrong and fried it ? did he disconnect the battery when he installed this ? does his car have another electrical problem ? Who knows , but i still offered to exchange the pump for him. He never sent it back. |

Look around online. You will not find the part number you list for the thermostat. It may be a VERY out of date part.
I also see no conversation about the thermostat not fitting. The conversation you posted appears to be missing something. It went from a rather cordial conversation about the pump you sold him being defective to him being confused about you not responding. You sold the part. It is your responsibility if the part is defective upon arrival. You take on that responsibility when you try to make extra cash by reselling the parts. All I am saying is that the part number you provide does not appear to be correct. You need to figure out why that is.

And i am sorry but i disagree with you , it is not my job to find out if this part will fit YOUR car. I posted the part numbers its your job to do the research and find it they will fit your car. When i go buy something on forums or online i make sure i have correct part numbers before i make a purchase that is my resposibility. |

Sigh...I'll post the rest of our conversation when I get home. I tried to be reasonable, but you never responded until I threatened to file a paypal claim. You posted the wrong part number I don't know why you keep trying to play innocent. Just google the part number you posted and you will see you are wrong. You have my broken water pump, I did shipped it back. I will post the tracking info to prove it when I get home. I am still expecting to get a working water pump from you.

You are the seller here which means you are providing your personal assurance that the parts you are selling are functional. If you are buying very old stock parts you are not disclosing that. Apparently that gamble has come back to bite you as one of your customers received a defective pump. I am curious to see the evidence that your customer posts since it appears, as I suspected, that there is more to the conversation than you originally provided. You are correct in that the buyer should verify that the part numbers provided are correct for their car. And, indeed, the waterpump and bolts part number you provide are correct. The fact that you are refusing to address why the part number of the thermostat you provide is no where to be found online though appears deceptive.

cmotzner Are two of the ppl i sold these pumps/thermostats to, along with others that txt me so i am not sure what their username's are on here. They received the exact same pump/thermostat/bolts and did not have any issues. Why his thermostat is different from the rest of the world i don't know but again it is his responsibility to verify the part numbers not mine. Anyway i am done going back and forth here i have posted everything on here , with the exception of the picture of the thermostat he sent which is different from the one i have but the picture of the thermostat i have is now posted so please verify it is the same as yours if you are going to buy this. Thanks! |

I just check the tracking, it is in Las Vegas...Hopefully it actually gets to you. As for our PMs I'll just leave it as is. I didn't bring up the broken pump, I just wanted people to know what thermostat you were actually selling.

Looks like a lot of mis- information. The part numbers posted in the first thread are exactly the same as what i found on realoem for my 2009 n54 335i. If you have a set left please pm me. I'm at 122,000 miles on original pump tick.tick.tick
