The dockings that are bolded above have already occurred. According to the shipping website, it is due in charleston on the 22. BUT according to port-of-charleston.com, it's due there the 23. Either way 22 days to cross the Atlantic is aggravating.

Dealer told me they would "put a rush" on it at the VPC. Apparently they can accelerate VPC processing if needed. The said it would take them 6 hours to prepare the car at the dealership...

Congrats. man. Hopefully the weather here in the Midwest will improve over the next few weeks. There's snow/ice/salt all over the roads, and more snow is predicted tonight. A friend got a new car today and has to drive it home through this mess (it was clean for about 20 minutes).

I've decided to keep my '94 accord as a beater. That way, I may prolong my first dent/key/scratch.

Just got a call from my dealer today. He said it would be in the first week of March!

Strange thing is, the tracking status still shows as "En Route." I asked him what his status showed and he sort of fumbled around trying to explain then admitted that his info is pretty much the same as ours, just a little ahead of when we get it.

Anyway, delivery is near (even if it gets pushed back to week 2 of March) and he confirmed the pricing we negotatiated a couple months ago, so I'm feeling pretty good!

i wonder why its taking so long....everything that i have read about port to vpc to dealership said between 5 to 10 days and were going to be way past that...
