I seriously doubt it. I also saw that the only LL-01 oil Valvoline sells is the MST.

Not sure when mst came out. I've been using 5W-30 SynPower for the last 5yrs as written in the BMW LL-01 list.

Exactly. That's the whole point...to catch a small problem before it goes catastrophic.

Agreed though; this *may* be an oil brand/model issue, but who knows. The next UOA with different oil should tell you for sure. If it's a hardware issue, it will definitely materialize in subsequent samples. As easy as you go on the car OP, you should be able to get 10k easy out of an OCI though. Hope the next test turns out some positive results.
