Steve at this stage I am out.

This is not a bad deal guys especially considering the deal on fitting. The gains are there to be had. If you are on the fence jump about this jump in on the group buy now.

So on top of this intake, I would need to get 2 x filters plus a BOV? Anything else? That adds another 4-500 bucks to total costs

You can vent your stock DV's to atmosphere if you don't want to run a BOV, and most people should already have an intake to justify these inlets.

To clarify, the inlets have the cone filters just sit over the top of the silicone hoses or the hoses attach to my existing intake down low? My problem is my aFE filters are oval

Filters do not matter. You can use these with the stock airbox, aftermarket intake or DCi's

This part threw me off. So I don't need these?

Correct, you can keep your stock airbox if that's what you are currently running

You CAN but I wouldn't recommend this as being a recirc valve it will have a much softer spring inside it when you really want something rated at circa -20inHG for a vent to atmo application.

Those standard diverter valves have been tested and known to leak boost in factory form so for those looking to run these VTT kits I could only imagine that they would have FBO and running higher levels of boost which would definitely warrant a BOV upgrade.

I wouldn't recommend it either, this is what Tony @ VTT suggested if you don't want to run a BOV, or wait 6months for him to manufacture the DV style inlets

Might be interested as well and I'm running everything stock. Let me do a bit of a research and I'll decide then. Sounds like a quality item from the looks of it compared to the stock parts.

Group buy cancelled, head over to the other forums if you want to jump on the group buy.

I personally will be waiting to see what the RB inlets look like before I make a purchase

Yeah I'm keen to see what the washup is with all these new inlet offerings

Hopefully by that stage I will be installing them in conjunction with some new turbos also
