because you're running map 2 without a down pipe, I recommend switching to map 1 and see if that works

I have bmw ppk as well but that is moot since the jb4 basically overrides that..so you do not feel the benefits but you still get the cool burble.I agree the power is pretty good but have to agree it is not as strong at the high rpm's but in real day driving it is hard to really get into it.

yes thats correct jb4 does override the ppk, i shift at 6k anyway as thats the peak hp is at 5800, so not having top end power doesn't bother me, most turbo cars without meth and/or e85 are like that

It was a 3rd gear pull with traction off and stability control off too. I highly doubt the tires are spining in 3rd gear. They have about 80% tread on them too.

Map 2 3rd gear pull....93 octane
shows throttle dropping at 4458 rpm to 84%
Tires are good and road was dry, cant see how it would be traction control coming in at that speed

Throttle closure in that log was caused by overboost.
Target was 14 psi and car was doing 14.5

But in map 5 it didn't overboost. it had way more throttle closure. Why is that? how can i stop it from having throttle closure?

The S55 like the N55 is a valvetronic motor so it doesn't use the throttle to regulate airflow. It's just a safety valve that follows along load closely ready to close should the DME detect something amiss with the valvetronic system. That's why stock it's normally not sitting at 100% open at full throttle like an N54 would.

The stock tuning keeps the throttle very active by design. If it's tuned properly that same behavior will be present.

Looking at your logs, i would say you are gaining closer to 40 whp
The only way to know for sure would be on a dyno
